The Built Environment Shared Apprenticeship Service known as BESAS is a collaborative consortium of prominent “not-for-profit” flexi-job apprenticeship organisations working within the built environment sector. It brings together the expertise and commitment of Enable Futures, TrAC, CoTrain – Shared Apprenticeship Service, Shared Apprenticeships and Evolve Apprentices Ltd, covering the whole of England.

 

BESAS make it super easy for businesses to take on apprentices by doing all the leg work. As a government registered Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agencies, we find candidates that suit your business and employ them directly. For a fully inclusive weekly fee we handle recruitment, paying wages, health & safety training, mentoring, pastoral, in-work and academic support, and college fees. We provide ongoing support to both you and the apprentice.

 

If you are struggling with your commitment in taking an apprentice for the full duration of the apprenticeship, our services allow you to commit to the length of time you are comfortable with. We offer apprenticeship standards at all levels for both trade and technical roles, tailoring each apprenticeship to the needs of your business. As a host all you need to do is provide the work experience.

 

Flexi-job apprenticeships offer an alternative to the traditional apprenticeship model and have been designed to ensure those sectors and occupations where short-term contracts or other non-standard employment models are the norm, can access the benefits of apprenticeships by allowing employers more flexibility and resilience.
