EVENT & WEBINAR TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Sustainability Community (‘We’/’Us’) company number 14927403, accept bookings from delegates (“you”) at our Event (“Event” The conference or event that you will be attending as specified in the ticket booking) and Webinar (“Webinar” An interactive platform or online event) on the following terms and conditions. The events covered under this agreement are conducted on a business-to-business (B2B) basis, and this agreement is made in accordance with B2B terms and practices.

EVENT
Once you have purchased a ticket, we will inform you via email of your booking. You must show this booking confirmation upon entry to an Event. Your entry pass will be issued on the day of the event.
Your name, company and job description provided in the ticket registration will be printed on your name badge on the day. This will also be used to create the event attendee list on the day. If you do not wish to have this information published, please contact the event team.
Tickets cannot be purchased for minors under the age of 18yrs. If you wish a minor to attend an event, please contact the event team. Any minors under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or teacher. The accompanying adult must undertake their own risk assessment ahead of the event and will take full accountability and liability of any minors they are bringing to the event and their belongings.
The Sustainability Community are not responsible for the views and opinions of the speakers or exhibitors at the Event. All workshops and seminars at our Events are filled on a first come, first served basis or clearly labelled as invite only.
We have zero tolerance for any abusive, inappropriate or threatening behaviour, illegal activity or vandalism or any act that could pose a health and safety risk. Failure to adhere to this may result in you being banned from the Event and/or Membership.
Discount codes may be issued at our discretion or as part of the Membership package. These are subject to limited availability and are restricted to each event.
MEDIA
By purchasing a ticket, you understand that you may be filmed or photographed during the Event by The Sustainability Community, speakers, partners, sponsors or others at the event for the purpose of marketing and exploiting the event in all media, worldwide, perpetuity. If you have any concerns about this, please contact the Event team via email above.
Any media or marketing material created of the Event by us will remain the exclusive property of The Sustainability Community.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
As an attendee of an Event, you are liable for ensuring your own health and safety as well as that of others around you. Failure to comply with relevant laws, regulations or safety guidelines may result in immediate removal from the Event.
You agree that you will be solely responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and management of your property, belongings, and personnel during the Event.
If you bring any electrical equipment into the venue above a laptop, a PAT test certificate must be shown to the Event staff.
We are committed to accessibility for everyone. If you have any access requirements, it is your responsibility to notify the event team detailed above at least two weeks prior to the event to provide the adjustments required.
Should we provide catering at our events you may be asked to supply any dietary needs. It is your responsibility to provide this at the time requested to enable us to meet your needs.
WEBINAR
Participants who register for an online Webinar shall be granted access via their TSC account. The live webinar will be delivered through a third party online platform, which may include, but not limited to, Streamyard. Access to such platform shall not require the creation of a user account or the installing of a software application.
Unless confirmed by us in writing, participants are not permitted to share the online login details or passwords of a Webinar with any other person. This includes but not limited to; colleague, partner, director or representative. Any login details provided by us must not be made available to a wider network. If you believe there has been an unauthorised use of the login details or breach of security, then you must contact us immediately: enquiries@thesustainabilitycommunity.com
Participants acknowledge that the Webinar contains copyrighted material that is owned by The Sustainability Community and third parties and agree not to record or broadcast the Webinars without permission of The Sustainability Community. You agree to grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to produce, modify and/or sub-license to third parties all or part of the Webinar, content and material produced by you or your representatives in all media.
Our online Webinars can include discussion groups, virtual meetings and other interactive areas enabling discussions between attendees. You agree that we are not responsible for the information and/or material provided by participants in the online Webinars and cannot guarantee the accuracy or validity of the content.
You are responsible for the content you produce in the Webinars and agree to not supply, upload, distribute, link or publish any material that is; a) unlawful, obscene, threatening, abusive, defamatory or threatening, b) infringes intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party, c) contains confidential information or is in breach of confidence, d) unsolicited advertising or promotional material, e) contains any viruses, malware or harmful components.
For clarity, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for monitoring or verifying the content of our Webinars.
You may not use the Webinars; a) for any unlawful purpose, b) to impersonate any person, company, group or entity, c) to collect, store, share or process any personal data of any Webinar participants without the consent of the relevant individual.
We have the right to terminate your access to our Webinar and/or remove your content at any time without warning if we think you are in breach of these terms.
We reserve the right to change the speakers, content, time, date and platform of the Webinar upon written notice to you. If you are unable to attend the new date or time, we will not refund the price of your ticket but may at our discretion re-allocate your ticket to another Webinar.
Our Webinars aim to be inclusive to all. If you require any additional support to access our Webinars or have any disabilities that may hinder your use of our Webinars, please reach out to us via your account manager or enquiries@thesustainabilitycommunity.com and we will aim to accommodate your requirements.
WEBINAR – TECHNICAL
You are responsible for providing the necessary equipment and payment of any charges to attend our Webinars.
We are not responsible for the speed, quality or reliability of the telephone or internet lines or equipment that you use. Similarly, we are not liable for any technical issues or are responsible for any delays or disruption caused by any internet problems by your service provider or by technology that you use. Whilst we use reputable platforms to host our Webinars, we do not guarantee that the platform will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.
It is your responsibility to ensure your systems are compatible with the online Webinars and if you have any queries about the compatibility then please reach out to your account manager or enquiries@thesustainabilitycommunity.com
GENERAL
CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
Event tickets purchased are non-refundable including but not limited to changes in personal circumstances, change of mind or travel delays. Tickets are generally non transferrable except in special circumstances approved by us.
We reserve the right to cancel or rearrange the Event or Webinar for whatever reason, including but not limited to a Force Majeure Event. Notification of any such cancellation or rescheduling will be provided to you as promptly as possible. We shall not be in breach of contract by way of such cancellation, postponement or abandonment.
If we cancel the Event or Webinar (save where the event was cancelled for reasons of Force Majeure) we shall issue you with a refund of the price of ticket purchased.
If we reschedule or change to the Event or Webinar, your ticket will not be refunded but may be transferred to the new date and/or venue. If you are unable to attend the new date due to our rescheduling, your ticket will not be refunded.

LIABILITY
If an Event or Webinar is cancelled or rescheduled for whatever reason, we will not be liable for any loss of costs you incurred (including travel or accommodation).
Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we will not be liable to you for any accident, injury, loss or damage whatsoever, including but not limited to; loss or damage to personal items, loss or damage suffered while attending our Event or Webinar, loss of business, or for any inability to access or use our Webinars.
In the event of a claim against us, our aggregate liability to you will be limited to the amount you have paid us. You are agree to reimburse us for any loss or damages, cost or expenses incurred for any breach of these terms.
LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English Law. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim or dispute.
