Councillor Jonathan Pryor
Deputy Leader of Leeds City Council and Executive Member for Economy, Transport and Sustainable Development
Jonathan represents the ward of Headingley and Hyde Park and was first elected to Council in 2014 and has served on numerous committees including Environment and Housing Scrutiny Board and the Adult Social Care and Public Health Scrutiny Board as well as holding the positions of Executive Member for Learning, Skills and Employment and Executive Member for Economy, Culture and Education previously.
Jonathan is committed to delivering Inclusive and Sustainable growth for Leeds, supporting the creation of more good jobs across the city. He is passionate about developing, growing and supporting a safe and sustainable transport network to ensure the city of Leeds continues to grow and move in a way the benefits everyone and drives forward economic development and partnerships. All of this is with the aim of producing results that whole cities and wider areas can benefit from thereby reducing inequalities.
