KATE HUTCHINSON NAMED AS YOUNG LEADER AT YORKSHIRE LEADERSHIP AWARDS
Friday 13 March
We’re pleased to share that Kate Hutchinson, Founder and CEO of TSC, has won the Young Leader category at TheBusinessDesk’s 2026 Yorkshire Leadership Awards.
Kate was shortlisted in two categories, Young Leader and Green Leader, recognising her leadership in driving clean industrial growth and attracting inward investment across the UK and Europe.
Kate comments:
“Winning the Young Leader category at the 2026 Leadership Awards is an incredibly proud moment. It reinforces my commitment to bringing people together to accelerate clean industrial growth and support investment that drives real impact across the UK and Europe.”
Since the launch of TSC in 2023, Kate has developed it into an international platform that connects businesses, policymakers, and investors. Through a year-round programme of conferences, festivals, and digital events, TSC provides opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and turning ambition into action.
Winning this award highlights Kate’s leadership and the impact of TSC in promoting clean growth, supporting inward investment, providing opportunity for post-industrial towns and enabling industry to take meaningful action across the UK and Europe.
The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 12th March 2026 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, where leaders from across the region gathered to celebrate individuals driving positive change through innovation and impact.
