Chair, Offshore Wind Growth Partnership
In May 2023 Tim completed an assignment as the UK’s first Offshore Wind Champion with the publication of his report, “Seizing our Opportunities”, containing detailed recommendations for Government, Industry and other stakeholders.
Tim remains an advocate for positive change in the sector, and is Chair of the UK’s Offshore Wind Growth Partnership and a Commissioner on the UK’s Clean Power 2030 Advisory Commission. He acted as coordinator for the Welsh Government’s Offshore Wind Task & Finish Group.Tim was awarded an MBE in the 2024 King’s New Year Honours for services to offshore wind energy.
