Head of Supply Chain, OWGP (Offshore Wind Growth Partnership)
Rob Heaton is OWGP’s Head of Supply Chain Development , tasked with leading the development of a national supply chain strategy aligned with the Industrial Growth Plan.
Rob brings 17 years of experience in the offshore wind industry with a total of 22 years across the renewable energy sector. With a background in business development, strategy, and supply chain design and implementation that has driven successful outcomes in his previous roles across Europe, US and Asia.
Rob’s expertise includes roles in Offshore Wind with BP, Petronas and Macquarie (Corio).
Most recently Rob was seconded into the West of Orkney ScotWind project tasked with fostering supply chain & local content implementation, this included roles with SOWEC (SIM), OWIC (Supply Chain & Manufacturing) & IGP (Advisory Group).
