Peter Ramsden

Peter is a projects lawyer from Burges Salmon with a wide range of experience spanning a number of technologies, including hydrogen, gas and CHP, carbon capture and storage, fusion, fission, onshore and offshore wind, rooftop and ground-mounted solar, pumped hydro, biomass, waste-to-energy, and battery storage. He has advised on power and energy projects both internationally and domestically.

Peter focuses particularly on the commercial and regulatory aspects of projects and transactions (including subsidy arrangements) and specialises in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts (such as power purchase, offtake, route-to-market, grid-sharing, supply, distribution, and fuel and feedstock agreements).
