Matilda Hansell-Upton

Matilda Hansell-Upton is a passionate climate education advocate and volunteer with Teach the Future, a student-led campaign pushing climate change implementation across the UK curriculum. Based in Nottingham, she has spoken on panels, met with education ministers, and helped organise a parliamentary reception on bringing schools to Net Zero. At Regeneration Earth, Matilda brings her insight to the Skills stage, championing solutions-focused climate education that addresses eco-anxiety, supports teachers, and empowers students. She believes climate knowledge, skills, and values must be central to how we educate for the future.
