Kudakwashe Anderson-Chinyani

Kuda joined CMS in 2022 as part of the Energy Infrastructure and Project Finance team, specialising in renewable energy projects. Her work spans project development, project finance, corporate transactions and regulatory advice. She has advised on a broad range of renewable technologies, with particular experience in onshore wind, battery storage and solar.

In 2025, Kuda joined Energyz Black, where she has played a key role in providing strategic direction for the organisation in Scotland and advancing efforts to increase diversity and inclusion across the energy sector. She now serves as the Strategic Lead for Energyz Black Scotland.

Kuda is a graduate of the 2050 Climate Group’s Climate Action Leadership Programme; and in 2025 she was nominated and shortlisted for the Professional Services Award at the Young Professional Green Energy Awards, recognising her leadership and contributions to the renewables sector.

She is also deeply involved in CMS’s DEIB initiatives and plays an active role in shaping conversations on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging within both the renewables industry and the legal sector in Scotland.
