Katy Mennell

Katy Mennell is a Sustainability Programme Officer at Sheffield City Council, leading Local Area Energy Planning (LAEP) to turn net zero priorities into investable delivery pipelines. She works with partners across the city—communities, anchor institutions, businesses/investors and the public sector—to strengthen project evidence, governance and risk propositions. Previously, as Energy Manager at Kirklees Council, she secured DESNZ funding and led delivery of a whole-house retrofit project and a wider retrofit programme.
