Jonny Page

Jonny leads the Green Finance Institute’s work in mobilising investment into clean energy infrastructure, as part of the Built Environment Team. His current focus is on decarbonising heat, with the launch of GFI’s Heat Network Catalytic Funds. This helps derisk heat networks for debt investors, widening the pool of capital for the sector and driving down costs.

As an entrepreneur for ten years, Jonny’s experience includes co-founding the UK’s first green merchant bank, deploying £20m into early stage climate startups, helping Octopus EV develop senior connections in corporates and governments, and supporting early stage startups on finance and governance. He holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds
