The North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub is part of a national network of Local Net Zero Hubs, created by government to support local areas with the development and delivery of clean energy projects.
The Hub’s newly refreshed agreement with government sees them given the role of working with Great British Energy to identify and develop the local projects which will help deliver the government’s Clean Energy 2030 ambition and 8GW Local Power Plan, and implementing the forthcoming Warm Homes Plan.
