Jess Cook

Jess has over 14 years’ experience in regulated industries, both in direct customer delivery roles and in strategic and policy-focused positions, in private and charitable sectors. She is a passionate advocate for delivering exceptional customer service, and influencing positive change, through building and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships.

She joined the Foundation as the first Head of Foundation in January 2025, having previously worked in a number of transformative roles, including for Northern Powergrid leading their consumer vulnerability programme, leading the ‘People Living in Fuel and Water Poverty’ programme at the national fuel poverty charity, National Energy Action, and leading the Net Zero North East England partnership at the North East Combined Authority.
