Dan Wales-Hart

Dan Wales-Hart is a Policy and Economy Adviser in Environment, Coast and Rural matters at the North East Combined Authority. Dan joined the Authority in February, and has been spending the last four months building the North East Carbon and Nature Marketplace. Prior to joining the Authority, Dan was a consultant ecologist for 10 years, working in a wide range of schemes going through planning and development. Dan has experience in Biodiversity Net Gain, and understands the difficulties this can lead to in the planning process, but also the opportunity it presents for nature recovery.
