In partnership with the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, the inaugural Green Finance UK Conference brought together over 150 leaders from business, finance, government, and sustainability to explore the role of investment in driving the UK’s green transition.

Hosted by The Sustainability Community, the one-day national event featured keynote speeches, expert panels, and practical workshops covering topics from retrofitting finance and hydrogen markets to inward investment, biodiversity funding, and evolving ESG policy.

Delegates connected with investors, explored funding opportunities, and engaged directly with policymakers and innovators shaping the future of the green economy. The day also featured a dedicated deal-flow platform, giving start-ups and scale-ups the chance to meet potential funders and partners.

The conference will return in March 2026 — building on the success of its launch year to connect even more decision-makers, mobilise capital, and accelerate green investment across the UK’s regions.
