Sustainable Arts in Leeds CIC

In early 2018, a group of organisations and companies from the cultural and creative sectors of Leeds came together to discuss how we could respond to the climate crisis. From this point on, Sustainable Arts in Leeds (SAIL) was formed, taking inspiration from the Manchester Arts Sustainability Team (MAST).

We wish to use the power of this network for knowledge sharing and establishing of best practice, in order to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our sector. We also intend to use our collective influence to inform and engage our audiences/visitors about climate change.
