Stephen Carr
Director of Public Affairs, Peel Ports Group
After spending 16 years in senior commercial roles at Peel Ports Group, Stephen moved into a part-time role as the group’s Director of Public Affairs in January 2026.
He has extensive experience in using investments in transport infrastructure as a catalyst for growth and has been parts of an executive team that has invested in excess of £1 billion over the last five years to support business growth, decarbonisation and job & skills development.
Stephen’s career prior to joining Peel Ports was centred on the energy and supply chain industries, working for BP Oil and the logistics company TDG.
