Lead Officer - Transport Policy, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority
Huw Jenkins is Lead Officer for Transport Policy for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
His work includes the development of transport policy and related policy input to a wide range of issues. This includes support for the continued devolution of transport powers and transport funding, and engagement with central government and other key partners to help support and deliver our shared aims.
In particular, he supported the work that led to the creation of the Combined Authority model back in 2014 and its evolution to the Mayoral Combined Authority model in 2017.
Huw has worked in the field of transport policy the Liverpool City Region for nearly 25 years. He is a chartered town planner by background and one of a growing number of Welsh speakers at the Combined Authority.
