Abraham Narh

Dr Abraham Narh is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in Civil and Transportation Engineering. Currently, as Head of Integrated Transport Technical at Connected Places Catapult, Abraham provides technical and commercial leadership for projects, previously leading the delivery of Innovate UK funded Output and Outcome projects – a multi-million portfolio of projects to develop and demonstrate innovations that address transport mobility challenges with the aim of reducing the barriers to commercial adoption and deployment. Currently, Abraham is leading developing a data-driven technique to understand mobility patterns and consequently identify and improve gaps in the public transport bus provision.

Abraham’s expertise includes transport planning and modelling (microsimulation and operational models to assess mobility impacts on decarbonisation, air quality, roadworks, delay, journey time, etc.), congestion and traffic and demand management, roads and highways engineering, mathematical modelling, project and programme management, and team leadership. Abraham is a beneficiary of an EPSRC PhD scholarship that researched into applying Chaos Theory and machine learning techniques to manage congestion in signalised urban networks. Abraham has authored and presented academic papers in conferences in UK and elsewhere in Europe.
