By accelerating inward investment, we aim to drive regional economic growth and create sustainable jobs, ensuring prosperity is both inclusive and environmentally resilient.

Our community is rooted in optimism and action. When you attend our events, you’ll meet leaders who take a can-do attitude toward solving the climate crisis—while remaining realistic about the challenges ahead. We believe that by working together, we can transition the UK economy to one rooted in sustainability. In just 18 months, our network has grown to over 12,000 passionate sustainability leaders who are challenging the status quo, rewriting the rulebook, and transforming our communities.

In partnership with trade bodies, local and national governments, and investors, we harness inward investment to scale climate tech and green infrastructure. This collaborative approach underpins everything we do—from strategy to delivery—ensuring impact across policy, funding, and innovation.

In 2023, we launched Yorkshire Sustainability Week, the North of England’s largest gathering of sustainability professionals, welcoming 1,200 delegates to 20 events across 15 locations. In 2024, this evolved into Yorkshire Sustainability Festival, expanding to 40 events over two weeks and bringing together 1,500 attendees. Our flagship conference alone attracted 700 leaders from business, public sector, academia, and youth movements, all contributing to actionable plans for expanding the green economy in Yorkshire.

This year, we’re scaling our impact further with a series of Symposium roundtables in York, Bradford, Sheffield, and Hull. These invite-only events bring together leaders from across public, private, and third sectors to explore collaboration opportunities on key issues like green skills, retrofitting, infrastructure, energy transition, and sustainable transport.

We’re also hosting two focused one-day conferences on Green Skills and Green Finance, convening over 300 cross-sector leaders to develop strategies that will shape the UK’s sustainable future. Visit our events page for full details.

Looking ahead to 2025, the Yorkshire Sustainability Festival returns—bigger and bolder than ever—with a vision to deliver over 60 events across the region. Our flagship conference will evolve into ReGeneration Earth, a two-day national gathering bringing together 2,000+ sustainability pioneers to grow the green economy, transform our communities, and challenge the status quo. It promises to be the UK’s biggest celebration of sustainability yet.
