Clean Energy UK 2025

Clean Energy UK 2025 brought together the region’s top experts and leading organisations. The conference – delivered in partnership with Net Zero North East England and The North East Combined Authority – united more than 400 leaders and innovators from the energy, infrastructure, skills and finance sectors for a landmark one-day event focused on accelerating the UK’s clean energy transition.

The event brought together senior decision-makers, industry experts, and policymakers to share ideas, explore opportunities and shape the region’s pathway toward a net zero future. Across three dynamic stages – Power UP, Skill UP, and Scale UP – delegates heard from over 60 expert speakers who offered fresh perspectives, practical strategies and real-world examples of progress in renewable energy, workforce development, investment and green innovation.

From exploring innovative clean energy solutions to discussing the future skills needed to drive sustainable growth, the conference provided a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and inspiration – reinforcing the North East’s pivotal role at the forefront of the UK’s clean energy revolution.

The conference will return on 19th November 2026, following the momentum of its inaugural year to bring together even more decision-makers and innovators, showcase cutting-edge clean energy projects and accelerate the UK’s transition to a net zero future.
